Herts Colts beat Essex away for the first team in some 20 year in the South East (North) league decider at Ballards Gore on September 10. The 9-3 win takes them through to the final play-off against Hampshire at John O'Gaunt on October 9.

Hertfordshire Colts lost their first South-East League game of the season as Bedfordshire fought back at South Beds on July 23. Herts were 3-1 up after the foursomes, but could win only one of the singles to eventually go down 7-5.

Brocket Hall's Tomasz Anderson won the Hertfordshire Colts Championship at West Herts on June 25 by five strokes. It was a sweet victory for Anderson, who was beaten in a play-off in 2010.
